Tuscan No More started with a home that had great bones but was ready to move on from the heavier Tuscan style that once defined it. Rather than completely rebuilding each space, we looked for opportunities to work with what was already there and make targeted changes that would shift the overall feel of the home.

In the kitchen, a new backsplash and custom cabinetry gave the existing space a fresh update without the need for a full remodel. We added dedicated wine storage, a beverage refrigerator, open shelving, and under-cabinet lighting to make the space more functional while giving it a cleaner, more current look.

The adjoining lounge and other smaller spaces gave us an opportunity to push the transformation further. Custom wall paneling, tailored furnishings, warm wood tones, brass lighting, and new artwork replaced some of the heavier details with a look that feels layered and polished. In the powder bath, darker walls, warm wood, a sculptural mirror, and updated lighting created a small space with much more personality.

Throughout the project, the goal was to be thoughtful about what actually needed to change and what could stay. The finished home feels updated and intentional—not like a completely different house, but like a better version of the one that was already there.
