Residential Remodel & Furnishing Project
house on fairmount
House on Fairmount began with a home that had a strong foundation but needed more warmth, cohesion, and personality. The goal was to make each space feel more connected and considered, while still keeping the home comfortable and easy to live in.
We layered in tailored furnishings, custom window treatments, natural textures, and collected details to give the home more depth and character. A soft, neutral palette creates consistency from room to room, while a mix of materials, shapes, and finishes keeps the spaces from feeling flat or overly coordinated.
We also looked beyond the furnishings and made updates where the home could function better day to day. Paint, trim, and millwork helped refine the existing architecture, while the laundry and drop zone were reworked to add better storage, folding space, and a dedicated dog bar.
The finished home feels settled and personal rather than newly decorated—refined, comfortable, and layered in a way that can continue to evolve with the family over time.
